Our Story
Welcome to Infinity Dogs CIC, where we celebrate the infinite bond between dogs and their owners. We are a non-profit organisation who are passionate about empowering other disabled people to train their own Assistance Dogs, and enjoy accessible dog sports and activities training. We are committed to responsible dog ownership and force-free, progressive training methods, that enhance the well-being and happiness of both dogs and humans.
Our founder and director, Ruby Welsford, is an openly Autistic Force Free Dog Trainer based in Leamington Spa, Warwickshire, UK. She has a wealth of experience and qualifications in dog training, and is a trainer/member of several reputable force free dog training organisations. She is the founder and head instructor of the UK Disc Dog Association, and the first to judge a world cup qualifier in the UK.
Ruby has two amazing dogs, Betsy and Milo, who are both fully trained assistance dogs. Betsy, a Border Collie x Labrador, has overcome severe dog reactivity and has become a star canine performer, with over 500 performances and media appearances under her belt. She has also flown in cabin with an international airline multiple times. Milo, a border collie, is a rising star in the dog world, and has been invited to several events and media projects. Both Betsy and Milo enjoy learning new things and have tried various sports and activities, such as agility, scent work, rally, and parkour.
Ruby teaches seminars across the UK on Disc Dog, Trick Dog, and Clicker Training, helping others discover the joy of training their dogs while strengthening their bond. She also assists individuals in training their own assistance dogs and has been sought after by various organisations for her expertise. Ruby has also been involved in several international professional development programs for dog trainers.
Ruby has accumulated thousands of hours of continuing professional development and has volunteered at a local dog training club, where her journey started. In her spare time, she lives, breathes, sleeps and eats dog training!
Currently, Ruby and Milo are being coached by a world-class international stunt dog team for a major media project in 2024. We can’t wait to share more details with you soon!
At Infinity Dogs CIC, we are passionate about promoting inclusivity and celebrating disabled individuals in the dog world. We strive to create a community that embraces acceptance and safety for all. We hope you will join us on our journey and discover the infinite possibilities of dog training!
